There is a “secret” to longevity and wellness. Regular sauna use — 3-4 days a week for at least 20 minutes with a temp of 170+ — decreases your overall risk of mortality by up to 40% !
This is a huge and very studied topic. Lowers blood pressure. Helps with endothelial function, relaxes you, gives you a medium zone cardio workout. Your heart rate will naturally increase as if you are walking fast or jogging for 20 minutes. Lots of other awesome hormonal changes take place.
The big take away — get in a sauna “post workout best” 3-4+ times a week.
